CyberRiskGuardian Français

Terms of service

Which terms apply when you download, buy or use CyberRiskGuardian.

Effective 21 October 2026. Seller: Marc-André Léger, sole proprietor, Montréal, Québec, Canada.

Paid editions: the Commercial Licence

Professional, Team, Enterprise and MSSP editions are licensed, not sold, under the CyberRiskGuardian Commercial Licence (French version). By purchasing, installing or using a paid edition, the customer accepts that licence. It sets out the licence grant, restrictions, fees and renewal, updates and support, data and privacy, warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability, term and termination, and governing law.

Colleges and universities: the Educational Licence

Institutions that take the educational licence are bound by the CyberRiskGuardian Educational Licence (French version). See how to request a quote.

Community Edition

The free Community Edition published on GitHub is licensed under CC BY-NC 4.0. Commercial use requires the Commercial Licence.

Orders, payment and taxes

Online orders are processed by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record, which handles payment, invoices and sales taxes under its buyer terms. Annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Institutions that need a purchase order can be invoiced directly.

Refunds and privacy

Refunds follow the refund policy. Personal information is handled under the privacy policy.

Decision support

CyberRiskGuardian is a decision-support tool and does not replace professional judgement. Its outputs are analytical hypotheses that must be validated by qualified people; risk decisions remain the customer's responsibility.

Governing law

These terms and the licences are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. In case of conflict, the licence that applies to your edition prevails over this summary page.
